Phishing/Internet Scams
I thankfully have not had a problem of this type. I think the people who con you into these bogous acts, making false claims and stealing your money should be put in jail for a long time. It is just common when you think you are putting money into a fund and it is really just going into someones pocket. Like after hurricane Katrina you heard information all over the news to be careful of internet scam artists. It is wrong when thousands of people have just died and you are making false claims to turn a profit you should be ashamed. Internet Scam artists should be required to pay double of what they stole from that individual. Put in prison for at least 10 years.

Just like you, I have not experienced these problems either. We have either been lucky, or well informed not to fall prey. I couldn't agree with you more about having to serve harsh jail terms, and pay high penalties. These people should be made examples of because unfortunately, the ones that end up falling victim to these scams are usually the most vulnerable.
